Tonight the WRL team attended
Bathgate - A bid in Progress to see Lindsay's film debut. It was
a great night, plenty of free food and drink and a good opportunity to
network with other local businesses. Over the past 18 months the Enterprising Bathgate Board and co-ordinators have been working to deliver a programme of projects and initiatives for the businesses in Bathgate town centre. A Father and son were podium
pals at the first-ever West Lothian Run 10km and 5km events at
Beecraigs Country Park on Easter Sunday. Alasdair Blair was the first to cross the line for the 10km event in 43 minutes 21 seconds, and his son Robbie finished third in the 5km race in 21:56, despite a fall midway through, to round up a successful day for the Bathgate family. MORE...... |

Run are urging people to wear red and get energetic to join them in a
5km Easter run to raise money for Haiti's earthquake survivors. The race charity has joined the Herald & Post Haiti Appeal and will donate the proceeds of its Easter run at Beecraigs Country Park in the Bathgate Hills on Easter Sunday to our campaign. MORE..... |

Livingston hosts Santa Fun run

THE streets of Livingston took
on a festive look on Sunday when the first ever Santa Family Fun Run
took place. Over 50 runners in their Father Christmas outfits, turned out at the civic centre to run through the town’s streets. Families, some with children as young as nine years old, took part. Runners on their marks for half
marathon

THE countdown is on to this
weekend's first-ever West Lothian half marathon, which is set to raise
thousands of pounds for local charities.
More than 200 entrants, including Livingston MSP Angela Constance, are expected to take part in the West Lothian Run, which has attracted runners from Aberdeen, Carlisle, Edinburgh and a large number from the county. The 13.1-mile route will take competitors from the Meadow Park in Bathgate, starting at 9.30am on Sunday, and use the cycle track network around Blackburn before finishing back at the park this Sunday.
