Lindsay is founder and
co-ordinator of West Lothian Run.
Lindsay used to be a very keen runner when she
was
younger but gave it up to have my family.
Lindsay has
3 children who are all young adults now.
Willie Boyle (Councillor)
Willie is a local councillor and is very
active in
many area's of West Lothian, orginally from
Blackburn but now lives in Bathgate. He is very
enthusiastic to help make WLR a great success
and has been a great support since the very early
days when it was a pipe dream.
Alan
Reid (Retired Community Beat Officer )
Alan is a resident of Bathgate, he is a
keen runner
having completed several marathons, numerous half
marathons and the occasional 10k. One day he hopes
to have a complete loss of sanity and participate
in the
Glasgow - Edinburgh double marathon and that's in
his
fifties! "It's not the competing, it's the
participation"
Darryl
MacAulay (Community Beat Officer)
Darryl is the community police officer for
Boghall.
He is a keen runner and hoping one day to be able
to complete a marathon.
Diane
Hardie (Promotions)
Diane was inspired to get involved in WLR
after an
article in the Herald & Post. Diane is
Promotional Director.
Diane is also a cub scout leader.
Billy
Weir (Secretary)
Billy is born and bred in
Bathgate. He works as a groundsman within West Lothian council Sports is his main
hobbies.
He was a linesman for 10 years in Scottish
football.
Karen
Easton
Karen is a trainee hairdresser and a mum
of 3.
Karen is a supporter of 2 charities “The Baby
Reece
McGuire Memorial Fund” and Autism awareness,
her youngest son is autistic and she is keen to
run
in WLR to raise money for the cause.
Ashleigh
McLernon
Ashleigh is an ex
soldier and now looks after
Karen’s son. While she is at college she enjoys
interacting with him and teaching him new
skills.
Ashleigh is also very involved with "The Baby
Reece
McGuire Memorial Fund" and is keen to run in
WLR.
John
McLernon
John Mclernon has worked in banking for
last 5
years and also spent 1 year with Royal bank. John
is also a supporter of the Baby Reece McGuire
Memorial Fund and has danced around West
Lothian to Michael Jackson
Thriller. John is glad
to come on board WLR and looks forward to
helping them expand and build a great
orgainsation.
Alan
Borsbey (Treasurer)
Alan is a local
businessman who runs a very
successful Entertainments company based
in West Lothian which has been running for over 26 years. He provides the Entertainment and
ensures all the runners are given a warm
reception
on their return. Alan also provides support in
the
running of our website and Finances.
